The Toshiba SEIYA 5.0kW is a wall mounted split system built for larger single rooms, cooling and heating spaces of up to around 50m². It includes a wireless remote control, and Wi-Fi can be added as an option.

A large living room or open-plan space needs more cooling and heating power than a small bedroom does. The SEIYA 5.0kW is sized for a room of up to around 50m², and it runs on R32 refrigerant, with mains power reaching both the indoor and outdoor units.
5.0kW cooling, A++ rated
Cooling output is 5kW and heating output is 5.4kW, both rated A++ for efficiency. An inverter-driven compressor adjusts its speed to match demand instead of switching fully on and off, which is how the SEIYA keeps energy use and running costs in check.
Modes to suit the moment
Boost speeds up reaching the target temperature, Holiday Frost Protection guards the room while you are away, and Fireplace mode suits colder evenings. Quiet mode turns the indoor unit down at night, and the Magic Coil keeps water and dust off the coil.
What the installation needs
The indoor unit pairs with its outdoor unit, joined by 1/4" and 1/2" pipework, on a 230V supply. It uses R32 refrigerant, and being a split system, it must be properly installed and commissioned by a suitably qualified F-Gas registered installer.
