The Toshiba Console Bi-Flow 2.5kW is a split air conditioning system built to fit under a window sill or into a low ceiling attic, rather than high on a wall. Two air outlets spread cooling and heating evenly around the room.
Fits under a window, not on the wall
Some rooms have no wall space to spare, but do have room under a window sill or in a low ceiling attic. The Console Bi-Flow 2.5kW is built to go there instead of high on a wall, and it still cools and heats a room of up to around 25m².
2.5kW cooling, A+++ rated
Cooling output is 2.5kW (9000 BTU) and heating output is 3.2kW (11000 BTU), both rated up to A+++ for efficiency. Two outlets increase the flow and spread of air, giving more even coverage than a single outlet, and an auto-diagnosis function checks the system is running properly.
Quiet running with simple controls
Indoor sound stays between 23 and 39 dB(A), and a child lock on the control interface adds a layer of safety. The remote control has an extra-large display, so settings stay easy to read and adjust from across the room.
What the installation needs
An IAQ (indoor air quality) filtration system removes impurities from the air the unit draws in. The outdoor unit connects using 1/4" and 3/8" pipework on a 230V supply, and it uses R32 refrigerant and must be installed by an F-Gas registered installer.
