The Toshiba DAISEIKAI 4.5kW is a wall mounted split system that cools and heats a single room, suited to spaces up to around 45m². Cooling and heating outputs are equally matched, both rated at 4.5kW.
One system for a bigger room
One indoor and outdoor unit pair covers both seasons, cooling in summer and heating in winter without a separate appliance for each. Toshiba sizes the DAISEIKAI 4.5kW for a room of up to around 45m², and it runs on R32 refrigerant.
4.5kW in both directions
Cooling and heating are both rated at 4.5kW, or 16000 BTU, so one set of figures covers the system in either mode. Energy efficiency reaches up to A+++, and a DC (direct current) twin-rotary inverter compressor adjusts its speed to match demand rather than switching fully on and off.
Quiet enough for everyday use
Indoor sound runs from 22 dB(A) in Quiet mode up to 46 dB(A) on High, and Comfort Sleep mode keeps things quiet once the timer switches to night. A weekly timer gives 4 programmable settings a day across 7 programs a week, so the room can warm up or cool down on its own schedule.
What the installation needs
Plasma Ion Charger filtration and a self-cleaning coil work with an Ioniser System that clears smoke and odours from the room. The outdoor unit connects using 1/4" and 1/2" pipework, on a 230V supply. This system uses R32 refrigerant and must be installed by an F-Gas registered installer.
