The Panasonic TZ 5.0kW is a super-compact wall mounted split system for rooms with limited wall space. At just 779mm wide, it fits above a door or into a tight corner, and a nanoe X generator keeps freshening the air.
A compact fit above the door
Small bedrooms, home offices and living rooms often have no long stretch of clear wall for an indoor unit. Built around a 779mm chassis, the TZ 5.0kW tucks above a door or into a narrow gap, while still cooling and heating the room through every season.
5.0kW cooling, A++ rated
Cooling output is 5.0kW and heating output 5.8kW, both rated for efficiency: a SEER (seasonal energy efficiency ratio) of 6.90 earns an A++ rating for cooling, and a SCOP (seasonal coefficient of performance) of 4.50 an A+ rating for heating. Heating keeps working with outdoor temperatures down to -15°C.
Quiet running and simple control
Indoor sound stays between 33 and 44 dB(A), quiet enough for bedrooms, home offices and small living rooms. Built-in Wi-Fi links the unit to the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app, so you can change the temperature, check energy use and set schedules from your phone, and it also works with voice assistants.
What the installation needs
The indoor unit weighs 8kg and pairs with a 36kg outdoor unit, connected by pipes up to 20m long with up to 15m difference in height. It needs a 230V supply and uses R32 refrigerant, and it must be installed by an F-Gas registered installer.
