Description
The Panasonic PACi NX 60x60 6.0kW is a ceiling cassette split system that cools and heats a room from a compact unit set into the ceiling. It also carries a built-in nanoe X generator for cleaner indoor air.
Cooling and heating from the ceiling
A ceiling cassette keeps walls and floors clear, which helps in rooms where space is tight or a wall-mounted unit would be in the way. This compact 60x60 design is made for easy installation, and its indoor unit measures just 243 x 575 x 575 mm. The same system handles cooling in warm weather and heating when it turns cold.
6.0kW cooling, A++ rated
Rated at a nominal 6.0kW for cooling and 6.0kW for heating, it earns an A++ seasonal rating for cooling efficiency and A+ for heating. Cooling carries on in outdoor temperatures from -10°C to +43°C, while heating works from -15°C to +24°C outside, so one system covers the warm and cold months.
Four-flap airflow and quiet running
Advanced four-flap control directs the airflow around the room, and the indoor unit moves between 8.0 and 14.0 m³/min of air. Indoor sound levels sit between 31 and 37 dB(A). The nanoe X Mark 2 generator adds air purification, so the system cleans the air as well as controlling its temperature.
What fitting it involves
The indoor cassette connects to its outdoor unit through 1/4" liquid and 1/2" gas pipes, which carry R32 refrigerant between the two. Standard and Elite versions are both available from the options. Because the system holds refrigerant, it must be installed by an F-Gas registered installer.
