The Panasonic PACi NX 60x60 5.0kW cassette cools and heats commercial spaces from a discreet unit set into the ceiling. Its 60x60 body fits a standard ceiling grid, with only a 30mm panel visible from the room below.
Suits offices, shops and refurbishments
Offices, shops and meeting rooms need cooling in summer and heating in winter, and a ceiling cassette provides both without taking up wall or floor space. A shallow 250mm installation depth makes this one a good match for modern refurbishments. The Standard version also supports the 3-wire refurbishment method, which keeps upgrades in older buildings straightforward.
5.0kW of cooling and heating
The Standard version delivers a nominal 5.0kW of both cooling and heating, rated A++ for seasonal cooling efficiency and A+ for heating, which keeps energy use down. It keeps cooling in outdoor temperatures from -10°C to +43°C and keeps heating when it is as cold as -15°C outside, for reliable climate control all year.
Airflow tailored to the room
Four independent motors drive the flaps individually, so the airflow can be tailored to the room, helping prevent draughts and spread the temperature evenly. High, medium and low fan speeds suit different layouts and numbers of people, and the indoor unit runs at 27 to 34 dB(A). A built-in nanoe X Mark 2 generator works continuously to deodorise odours and inhibit pollutants.
What the installation needs
A CZ-RTC5B wired controller comes included for simple day-to-day use, and an Elite version is also available. The compact outdoor unit allows pipe runs of up to 20m and a height difference of up to 15m between the units, with R32 refrigerant in the pipework. It must be installed by an F-Gas registered installer.
