Description
Broughton's RG308 quartz infrared heater is designed for workshops, warehouses and other spaces that are hard to keep warm. Instead of heating the air, it sends radiant warmth straight onto people, objects and surfaces, so the heat is felt exactly where it is aimed.
Radiant heat for tricky spaces
Large, open or draughty areas such as workshops, warehouses, schools and offices can be uneconomical to heat as a whole. The RG308 gets around this by warming people, objects and surfaces directly with radiant heat, rather than the air, so warmth reaches exactly where the heater is pointed.
Up to 2.8kW, ready fast
Two quartz halogen bulbs sit behind a low-glare design, giving the RG308 up to 2.8kW of heat, close to 9,554 BTU/hr. Because that heat is radiant rather than something that has to warm the air first, it is available almost as soon as the heater is switched on.
Built to be moved around
At 14kg, the RG308 is light enough to reposition easily, and its carrying handle with four lockable castors makes moving it around a busy site straightforward. A choice of full or half power is set with simple rocker switches, while an anti-tilt cut-off switches off the heat automatically if the heater is knocked over.
Runs from a 110V, 32A supply
This version is wired for a 110V supply with a 32A connection, so make sure a matching supply is available on site before work starts. It measures 917 x 421 x 171mm, with fully serviceable construction built in for continued, dependable use.
