This Broughton RG308 quartz infrared heater brings direct heat to workshops, warehouses and other large or draughty spaces. Rather than slowly warming the surrounding air, it radiates warmth straight onto people, objects and surfaces exactly where it is aimed.

Workshops, warehouses, schools and offices can be slow to heat as whole rooms, especially where the space is large or draughty. Rather than warming the air, the RG308 sends its heat straight onto people, objects and surfaces, so warmth builds exactly where the heater is aimed.
2.8kW of quick radiant heat
The RG308's two quartz halogen bulbs put out up to 2.8kW of heat, roughly 9,554 BTU/hr, and warm up with very little delay once switched on. A low-glare design keeps more of that output working as heat rather than escaping as bright, unwanted visible light.
Light enough to reposition
Weighing just 14kg, the RG308 is easy to wheel around a site on its four lockable castors, using the integrated handle to guide it. Rocker switches give a choice of full or half power, and an anti-tilt cut-off shuts off the heat if the heater is ever knocked over.
Set up for a 230V supply
This version runs from a 230V supply with a 13A connection, so make sure the right power point is available before it goes to work. It measures 917 x 421 x 171mm and is fully serviceable, should it ever need attention over time.
