Description
The Broughton AHU 50 is a compact air handling unit that delivers up to 50kW of cooling or 100kW of heating from a footprint of just 80cm by 42.5cm. It connects to an existing chilled water circuit or a packaged water chiller already on site.
Cooling or heating from one unit
Sites that need climate control but have no room for separate plant can connect the AHU 50 to their own chilled water circuit or a packaged water chiller. It then provides cooling or heating for the space from one compact unit.
50kW cooling, 100kW heating
Cooling output reaches 50kW and heating reaches 100kW, with three selectable fan speeds and an integrated thermostat to match the output to the room. An internal condensate pump with auto purge and thermostatically controlled water valves keep it running with little attention.
Reversible grille, ducting or louvres
The grille is reversible, so the AHU 50 can run stand-alone with adjustable louvres directing the air, or be switched to triple spigot ends for connecting ducting. Each spigot supports up to 20 metres of ducting, so air can be carried to where it is needed.
Built for transport and long-term hire
Powder-coated steel construction stands up to the knocks and scrapes of transport, setup and long-term hire use. It runs from a 230V, 13A supply, and because it is lightweight for its output, the AHU 50 can be installed without forklifts or other heavy machinery.
