The Toshiba SEIYA 4.2kW is a wall mounted split system built for a single room, cooling and heating spaces of up to around 42m². A wireless remote control is included, with Wi-Fi available as an option.

A bigger room still calls for one indoor and outdoor unit pair, rather than several smaller systems. The SEIYA 4.2kW is sized for a room of up to around 42m², and mains power reaches both its indoor and outdoor units on a 230V supply.
4.2kW cooling, A++ rated
Cooling output is 4.2kW and heating output is 5kW, both rated A++ for efficiency. The inverter-driven compressor adjusts its speed to match demand instead of switching fully on and off, which is how the SEIYA keeps energy use and running costs down.
Modes for every occasion
Fireplace, Boost and Holiday Frost Protection modes suit different moments through the year, and Quiet mode turns the indoor unit down for a calmer night. The Magic Coil keeps water and dust from settling on the coil, so it keeps its efficiency for longer.
What the installation needs
The indoor unit pairs with its outdoor unit, using 1/4" and 1/2" pipework, on a 230V supply. It uses R32 refrigerant, and being a split system, it must be safely installed and properly commissioned by a suitably qualified F-Gas registered installer.
