Built into a full-metal body just 16.5cm deep, the Panasonic RAC Solo 20 heats and cools a room without an outdoor unit. Its minimalist design blends into the room and suits modern homes, offices and apartments where space is limited.
Where external units are not permitted
Some buildings do not permit external units, and this stand-alone system needs no refrigerant connections, only two holes through the wall. That keeps installation quick and clean, and the unit can go high on a wall or low near the floor to suit the room.
2.09kW of cooling, A-rated all year
DC (direct current) inverter technology gives a nominal 2.09kW of cooling and 2.08kW of heating, with seasonal efficiency rated A for both. It keeps working in extreme temperatures, cooling from -5°C to 43°C and heating down to -15°C. It also removes 0.8 litres of moisture an hour.
Quiet, with a self-sealing grille
Sound pressure is as low as 30 dB(A) on the low setting and 39 dB(A) on high. When the unit is not in use, the self-closing grille seals automatically, helping keep the indoor environment clean. A cooling only mode is available alongside heating and cooling.
