Designed for homes, offices, retail spaces and restaurants, the Panasonic KIT-Z50-UD3 is a low static pressure ducted split system for discreet heating and cooling. The indoor unit stays hidden above the ceiling and feeds conditioned air to the room through ducting.
Slim enough for a tight ceiling void
At just 200mm high, the indoor unit installs easily into tight ceiling voids without sacrificing performance. Walls stay clear and the room keeps its clean lines, which matters in small rooms where comfort and appearance are equally important. The outdoor unit can be placed flexibly, with pipe runs of up to 30m.
Up to 7.2kW of heat, A+ rated
Heating output is 6.1kW nominal and can rise to 7.2kW when needed, and both heating and cooling carry an A+ seasonal energy rating. Eco Mode reduces energy consumption by up to 20%. The system runs on R32 refrigerant and is built for dependable heating and cooling all year.
Quiet, and easy to automate
Indoor sound starts at 26dB(A), so the system works without distraction. It connects to KNX and Modbus building management systems, and dry contacts handle on and off switching and error reporting. Weekly timers with up to 42 settings allow precise scheduling.
What the installer needs to know
A built-in drain pump and an easy check mode simplify installation and servicing. The unit handles an external static pressure of 15 to 50Pa, which is the resistance from the ducting that its fan can push air against. The system needs a 230V supply and must be installed by an F-Gas registered installer.
