The Panasonic BZ 5.0kW is a wall mounted split system that gives a room powerful cooling and heating from a compact indoor unit. Only 779mm wide, it fits easily over a door or into a tight space in a modern home.
Built for both summer and winter
One system covers the whole year: the BZ 5.0kW cools on hot days, heats through cold spells and can take moisture out of the air. Aerowings technology directs the airflow precisely, so the room reaches a comfortable temperature quickly and evenly. It suits bedrooms, offices and living rooms alike.
5.0kW cooling, up to 7.5kW heating
It delivers a nominal 5.0kW of cooling, and heating output can reach 7.5kW, with seasonal efficiency ratings of A++ for cooling and A+ for heating. The inverter adjusts its output to what the room needs, avoiding wasted energy. Heating keeps going in outdoor temperatures as low as -15°C, and cooling down to -10°C.
Quiet running, with Wi-Fi as an option
The indoor unit runs as low as 20dB(A), so it stays unobtrusive whether it is heating or cooling. A PM2.5 filter captures fine particles such as dust and pollutants. Add the optional Wi-Fi control to manage it from your smartphone, automate schedules or have the room ready before you arrive home.
What the installation needs
The compact indoor unit weighs just 8kg and pairs with a 36kg outdoor unit, connected by refrigerant pipes of up to 15m in length. It needs a 230V supply and runs on R32 refrigerant. An F-Gas registered installer must carry out the installation.
