Returns & Damage Reporting Policy
We want to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. To help us resolve any delivery issues quickly and effectively, we kindly ask all customers — both consumers and business buyers — to inspect their goods within 24 hours of delivery.
Inspection & Damage Reporting – All Customers
Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, defect, or missing item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

Why this matters: Most courier services require damage claims to be submitted within 24–48 hours. Reporting issues promptly allows us to raise a claim on your behalf and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement beyond this point.
Returns & Cancellations – Consumer Customers (Private Individuals)
If you are a consumer and have simply changed your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, under your statutory cooling-off period.
To be eligible for a full refund:
- unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
- partial refund may apply
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Returns – Business Customers (Trade / Commercial Buyers)
For all business purchases, cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases on business orders unless agreed in writing at our discretion.
Any issues or damage must still be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as outlined above.

Compact Moisture Control for Smaller Spaces
The MeacoDry Arete® One 6L delivers effective dehumidification without taking over your room. Designed for spaces up to 25m², it is ideal for bedrooms, studio flats, student accommodation and shared houses. Its compact design makes everyday humidity control practical where floor space is limited.
Fight Damp, Mould and Condensation
Excess moisture can quickly lead to condensation, musty odours and mould growth. The Arete® One 6L removes up to 6 litres of moisture per day to help keep humidity under control. It is particularly useful in busy bathrooms, bedrooms and smaller living spaces where moisture can build up quickly.
Dry Laundry in Around Six Hours
Smart Laundry Mode provides a practical solution when outdoor drying space or a tumble dryer is unavailable. It can dry a typical load of washing in around six hours while removing the released moisture from the room. This helps clothes dry faster while reducing condensation and that lingering damp smell.
Whisper-Quiet for Sleeping and Studying
Operating from just 32dB(A), the Arete® One 6L is designed to work quietly in the background. Night Mode switches off the display lights and audible beeps for minimal disturbance. It is ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, home offices and late-night study sessions.
Smarter Humidity, Lower Energy Use
Meaco Control Logic automatically manages humidity while helping minimise unnecessary energy consumption. Once the selected humidity level is reached, the unit switches off and checks conditions every 30 minutes. It only restarts when the relative humidity rises by more than 5%.
Dehumidifier and Air Purifier in One
The Arete® One 6L combines moisture control and air purification in a single compact appliance. Its included medical-grade H13 HEPA filter removes 99.75% of particles down to 0.3 micrometres in diameter. A dedicated Air Purification Mode also allows the unit to clean the air without actively dehumidifying.
Designed Around Limited Space
A slim, flush-back construction allows the unit to sit neatly against walls or beneath desks. At just 7.9kg, it is light enough to reposition when moisture control is needed elsewhere. Optional castors are also available separately for added mobility.
Simple Everyday Operation
The digital display, two fan speeds and adjustable humidistat make the Arete® One 6L straightforward to control. Humidity can be selected between 40% and 70% RH, while auto-restart provides added convenience. Continuous drainage is also supported using a suitable 12.5mm hose.
Made for the British Climate
Designed in the UK, the Arete® range is engineered around the moisture challenges commonly found in British homes. The 6L model combines low 105W power consumption with an operating range of 5°C to 35°C. A five-year warranty provides additional reassurance for long-term use.
