The Meaco DD8L Junior removes up to 7.5 litres of moisture a day using desiccant technology, working in temperatures as low as 1°C. Unlike a conventional compressor dehumidifier, that makes it well suited to boats, garages, workshops and other unheated spaces.
Suited to boats and workshops
Its ability to work at low temperatures makes the DD8L Junior particularly suited to boats, garages, workshops and similar spaces, where it can help control condensation and excess humidity before they take hold. It has also performed strongly in tests by PBO and Sailing Today.
7.5 litres a day, from 1°C
It extracts up to 7.5 litres of water a day and keeps working in temperatures as low as 1°C, using desiccant technology rather than a compressor. A dedicated laundry mode also helps washing dry more quickly indoors, which helps prevent that moisture adding to condensation elsewhere in the room.
Quiet enough when you need it
Select the quiet fan setting when low noise matters most, and operating noise starts from just 39dB(A). Once the humidity you want, between 40% and 60% RH, is reached, it checks every 30 minutes rather than running constantly, saving energy.
