The Lux Air KYR35-GW/LUX is a 12000 BTU portable air conditioner with 3.5 kW of heating, for rooms up to 35 m² and conservatories up to 20 m². Smart Life app control over Wi-Fi, plus Alexa and Google Assistant, makes it easy to run.
Cooling and heating through the year
Larger rooms, offices and conservatories can overheat in summer and feel cold in winter. This unit cools in the warm months, heats when the weather turns, and also runs in fan and dehumidifying modes, giving flexible, year-round climate control from one portable unit.
12000 BTU cooling, 3.5 kW heating
Cooling capacity is 12000 BTU and heating capacity 3.5 kW, with a Grade A rating and a power consumption of 1.4 kW. Three fan speeds move up to 380 m³/h of air, dehumidifying removes 28.8 litres a day, and auto defrost stops ice building up.
Control by app, voice or remote
Manage it from a smartphone or tablet through the Smart Life app, by voice with Alexa or Google Assistant, or with the infrared remote and LED display. The 24-hour timer and sleep mode schedule quiet, efficient running at night, though it is designed for 50% on and 50% off in any 24 hours rather than continuous use.
Included for a quick set-up
A ducted exhaust hose and an adjustable window mounting panel come with it, and automatic condensate removal means the tank generally does not need emptying except in extremely humid conditions. Easy-roll castors move the 30kg unit between rooms, and it has a UV-C (ultraviolet) sterilisation lamp, a dust-proof mesh layer and R290 refrigerant.
