Description
The Lux Air KFR53IW/LUX is a 5.0kW wall mounted split system that heats and cools a room of 45m², at home or at work. A 4m pipe kit comes with it, and it purifies the air while it runs.
One system for summer and winter
The heat pump inside switches between cooling and heating, so the same unit keeps a room comfortable whatever the season. A UV-C (ultraviolet C) lamp and a 3-in-1 filter clean the air on its way through, removing odours and particles, while an anti-mould coating stops mould growing inside the unit.
5kW of heating or cooling
Cooling and heating output are both 5kW (18000 BTU), and the system is rated A+++ for energy efficiency. Oscillating vanes and 4D airflow spread the air evenly, keeping the temperature steady in every corner, and adjustable fan speeds trade speed for silence when you want them to.
35 dB(A) on the lowest setting
The indoor unit is rated at 35 dB(A) on its low setting and 44 dB(A) on high. You can run it from your phone over Wi-Fi, ask Alexa or Google Assistant to change the settings, or use the remote control, and the timer turns it on and off at set times.
What turns up and what it needs
Along with the indoor and outdoor units, a 4m pipe kit is supplied. The pipework sizes are 1/4" and 1/2", mains power is wired to the outdoor unit, and an F-Gas registered installer must fit and commission the system, which runs on R32 refrigerant.
