The Lux Air KFR-28MB-LUX is a wall-mounted monoblock air conditioner that cools, heats and dehumidifies without an outdoor unit. The whole system is housed in one compact unit, and built-in Wi-Fi lets you run it from a smartphone.
Comfort where outdoor units are not allowed
In a flat, a listed building or an office where outdoor units are not permitted, a split system is often out of the question. The KFR-28MB-LUX gives these rooms cooling in summer and heat pump warmth in colder months, with no outdoor condenser and no extensive pipework.
10,000 BTU cooling with an inverter
It delivers 10,000 BTU (2.93kW) of cooling and 9,000 BTU (2.64kW) of heating, sized for rooms of 15 to 20m². The inverter compressor continuously adjusts its output to hold the temperature you set, which reduces energy consumption and keeps operation quieter.
Wi-Fi control and a silent mode
From a smartphone you can adjust the temperature, operating mode and schedule wherever you are, alongside the remote, wired control and touchscreen panel. Silent mode brings the noise down from 53 dB(A) to 39 dB(A), and the self-evaporating system minimises manual draining during cooling.
Three holes and a 230V supply
Installation is quick and done from indoors: the unit mounts on the wall and needs three external holes. It runs from a 230V 50Hz supply, measures 965mm wide, 200mm deep and 615mm high, and weighs 36kg. Its housing and control box are metal.
