The Airlock Universal Window Seal Kit closes off a part-open window around the exhaust hose of a portable air conditioner or dryer. Hot air goes out through the hose and the seal stops it drifting back into the room.
Keeps the heat and insects out
An open window lets warm outside air flow back in around the hose, so a portable air conditioner has to work harder to cool the room. Sealing that gap helps the unit cool faster and run more efficiently, which saves electricity. The seal also keeps out flies, spiders and other insects while the window stays open.
Fits tilt and casement windows
The kit is made for tilt and casement windows, and it is not suitable for sliding windows. Dual zips let it close neatly around a single-hose or dual-hose portable air conditioner. It also suits an exhaust dryer or drum dryer venting through the window.
Tough enough for wind and rain
The seal is made from strong 210T polyester with a waterproof PU (polyurethane) coating. It keeps wind, rain and dust out while the air conditioner gets on with cooling. At the end of summer, clean it and put it away to use again next year.
Everything you need to fit it
Everything needed comes in the kit: the fabric seal, adhesive tape, cable ties and instructions. Open the window slightly, stick the tape to the frame and attach the seal, then zip it around the hose and secure it with the cable ties. No drilling or tools are needed.
