Description
For a room of 50m², the Kaysun DVR15 5.2kW cassette provides heating and cooling from a panel in the ceiling that sends air out through 360°. It fits into suspended ceilings in homes and commercial premises, and comes with a condensation pump built in.
Reaches every corner of the room
Air is aimed in all directions, so warm or cool air reaches the corners as well as the middle of the room and hot or cold spots are avoided. Most of the unit sits above the ceiling, leaving only the panel below.
18000 BTU of cooling from the ceiling
Output is 18000 BTU for cooling and 19000 BTU for heating, with a power input of 1.55 kW when cooling. Its DC (direct current) inverter fan reaches 660m³/h at the top setting and is designed to keep power consumption low, while the system holds an A++ energy rating.
Control it from where you like
A wired controller can be positioned wherever is most convenient for adjusting temperature and airflow, and the system also works with a remote control or centralised control. Indoors the sound pressure sits between 25 and 44 dB(A), and the outdoor unit is rated at 59 dB(A).
Installation and pipework
The cassette arrives with its condensation pump already fitted, able to lift water up to 750 mm for drainage. An F-Gas registered installer must fit the system, connecting the indoor and outdoor units with 1/4 inch liquid and 1/2 inch gas pipes, and it needs a 230V supply.
