Description
The EIPL DD900 from Ebac Industrial Products is a desiccant dehumidifier for heavy-duty moisture control, removing up to 135 litres of water a day. It protects warehouses, factories, laboratories and archives from condensation, mildew, mould and moisture damage.
Keeps drying in the cold
At its heart is a silica rotor that keeps absorbing moisture even in cold conditions. A heater then drives that moisture off as vapour, so there is no internal water tank to fill and empty. That lets the DD900 run 24/7 without manual intervention, protecting the assets kept inside.
135 litres a day, down to -20°C
The DD900 removes up to 135 litres of moisture a day and moves 900m³/h of air. It is rated to work anywhere from -20°C to 40°C, so low temperatures do not stop it drying. Two variable EC (electronically commutated) fans and an integrated electronic humidistat let you tune the drying to hold the humidity you need.
Runs itself with little upkeep
Operation is automatic, and an hour meter keeps track of how long the unit has run, which makes servicing easy to plan. Auto restart, auto shut-off and an energy saving mode are built in, and it holds an A energy efficiency rating. A remote humidistat is available for controlling humidity away from the unit.
Made for tight industrial spaces
A stainless steel casing protects the DD900, and its compact, upright shape suits space-restricted areas. The air inlet and outlet vents are fitted with flanges, so ducting can be connected to move air in and out. The unit measures 120.3 cm x 58 cm x 71.8 cm and weighs 90kg.
