Description
Built in the UK for continuous commercial use, the Broughton MCSe6.7 is a 6.7kW portable air conditioner with a water-cooled split design. It keeps offices, gyms, workshops, server rooms, kitchens and laboratories cool, even through extended operation in warm conditions.
Full performance in warm spaces
The MCSe6.7 transfers heat from its indoor unit to a compact external rejector unit. This removes the condenser derating effect, where output falls as the surroundings warm up, so the unit maintains full performance even in warm spaces. It works in temperatures from 15°C to 35°C.
6.7kW cooling, 1100 m³/h indoors
It provides 6.7kW of cooling with a maximum indoor airflow of 1100 m³/h, and EC (electronically commutated) fans give variable speed control with reduced noise. Backward-curved impellers generate higher pressure, so air travels further and the airflow quality improves. It uses R454C refrigerant, which has a low GWP (global warming potential).
Set it and let it cycle
Set the target temperature on the digital thermostat and the unit cycles as needed to maintain it. Status indicators give clear insight into performance, variable louvres help direct the airflow, and both the indoor and outdoor units run at 64 dB(A).
Flexible set-up on locking castors
A 5m umbilical is included and can be extended up to 35m, and the outdoor unit can sit up to 5m above the indoor unit, which gives flexibility over where each part goes. Locking castors allow easy manoeuvring, and it runs from a 230V supply through a 13A UK plug.
