The Broughton Comcool is a heavy-duty industrial evaporative cooler, built to bring cooler air to large open spaces. It needs no complex installation, so this portable cooler is ready to use almost anywhere it is needed.
Cools large spaces the natural way
As water evaporates it takes heat from the air, and the Comcool uses that natural process to turn warm air into a cooler, more humid flow. It suits warehouses, factories, agricultural buildings and event spaces, giving a refreshing breeze without a traditional air conditioning system.
20kW of cooling from 2A
The Comcool gives the equivalent of 20kW of cooling, or 71,000 BTU, while drawing a running current of just 2A. Its multi-speed fan moves 5165m³ of air an hour, and a low-power diaphragm pump keeps water flowing over the cooling pads.
A 90-litre tank and locking castors
The 90-litre internal tank gives long-lasting continuous operation, or connect a direct tap supply to keep it topped up. A built-in water filter and purge system keep it running cleanly over time, and heavy-duty castors with locking brakes let you wheel it into place and hold it there.
What it needs to run well
The unit measures 1660mm x 640mm x 500mm and weighs 100kg empty, and it runs from a 230V 13A supply. Like any evaporative cooler, it needs good ventilation, so it is not suitable for sealed or humidity-sensitive spaces such as server rooms.
