The Alorair Storm Dual Voltage is a commercial dehumidifier designed for hire shops, whose machines go out to homes as well as building sites. It runs on either a standard 240V supply or the lower 110V that some industrial sites require.
One machine for homes and building sites
Because it switches easily between the two voltages, one unit can dry out a domestic property on one job and work on an industrial site on the next. It treats an area of up to 1300 square feet and keeps working from 2°C to 38°C, so it suits cold, unheated buildings as well as occupied homes.
Up to 48 litres a day
In warm, humid air at 30°C and 80% relative humidity, it removes up to 48 litres of water a day, or 25 litres at 26°C and 60%. An upgraded compressor, a hydrophilic film coating the heat exchanger and bored tubing improve its cooling, which makes dehumidification more efficient and gives it a longer life.
Check on it from your phone
Wi-Fi lets you monitor the dehumidifier and change its settings from an app on your phone, so you can keep an eye on a job without being there. On site, the touch screen does the same, and memory restart brings it back on its settings after a power cut. It runs at below 58 dBA.
Pumps its water away and stacks for storage
Water collects in a holding tank, and a pump sends it away, lifting it as high as 4.5m. A tank full switch protects your work space if the condensate pipework blocks. The shock and scratch resistant rotary moulded body rolls on large wheels with an extendable handle, has a hinged cover for cleaning and filter changes, and stacks for compact storage.
