Warranty Information

We take pride in the quality and reliability of the TruCool 9000BTU Portable Air Conditioner. To give you complete peace of mind, this unit comes with a comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty, which covers both the main appliance and its key components. Please read the following warranty terms carefully.

1. Standard Warranty Coverage

From the date of original purchase, your TruCool air conditioner is covered by a 12-month limited warranty. This includes protection against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Should any part of the air conditioner (excluding the compressor) become faulty within this period, we will arrange collection of the unit and provide a repair, replacement, or full refund at no additional cost to you.

2. Compressor Warranty

In addition to the standard 12-month cover, the compressor unit is backed by an extended 36-month warranty. The compressor is a vital component of your air conditioner, and this extended guarantee ensures your long-term confidence in the unit’s cooling performance. If the compressor fails due to a manufacturing fault within the 36-month period, we will collect the unit and carry out necessary repairs or a replacement, free of charge.

3. What the Warranty Covers
• Manufacturing defects in workmanship or materials
• Mechanical or electrical failure under normal use
• Faults in the compressor (for 36 months)
• Costs for return shipping and re-delivery for valid claims
• Labour and parts required for repair or replacement

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
• Normal wear and tear (filters, wheels, exterior scratches etc.)
• Use outside of the United Kingdom
• Faults caused by improper installation or ventilation
• Commercial or industrial use unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Units not used or maintained according to the user manual

5. Claiming Under Warranty

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with your proof of purchase (such as your order number or receipt). We will assess the issue and, if covered, arrange for the unit to be collected and inspected. Upon inspection, we will either repair the item, replace it with a like-for-like model, or offer a refund depending on the circumstances and product availability.

6. Returns Within the First 30 Days

If a fault occurs within the first 30 days of receiving your air conditioner, you are entitled to a full refund or exchange. In such cases, we will cover all associated shipping costs. The item must be returned in its original condition and complete with all packaging, parts and accessories.

7. Post-Warranty Support

Even after the warranty period ends, we’re here to help. We offer ongoing support and can supply replacement parts, advice, or chargeable repairs should you ever need assistance with your TruCool unit in future.
