Returns & Damage Reporting Policy
We want to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. To help us resolve any delivery issues quickly and effectively, we kindly ask all customers — both consumers and business buyers — to inspect their goods within 24 hours of delivery.
Inspection & Damage Reporting – All Customers
Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, defect, or missing item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

Why this matters: Most courier services require damage claims to be submitted within 24–48 hours. Reporting issues promptly allows us to raise a claim on your behalf and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement beyond this point.
Returns & Cancellations – Consumer Customers (Private Individuals)
If you are a consumer and have simply changed your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, under your statutory cooling-off period.
To be eligible for a full refund:
- unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
- partial refund may apply
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Returns – Business Customers (Trade / Commercial Buyers)
For all business purchases, cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases on business orders unless agreed in writing at our discretion.
Any issues or damage must still be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as outlined above.

Powerful Desiccant Dehumidification
The Meaco DD8L provides reliable moisture control throughout the home, extracting up to 7.5 litres of water per day. Its desiccant technology remains effective in cooler conditions where compressor models can become less efficient. It can operate in temperatures as low as 1°C.
Ideal for Homes and Colder Spaces
Suitable for flats and homes with up to five bedrooms, the DD8L offers versatile protection against excess moisture. Its low-temperature performance also makes it ideal for garages, cellars, caravans, motorhomes, boats and holiday homes. This versatility makes it particularly useful for spaces that are not continuously heated.
Intelligent Energy-Saving Control
Once your selected humidity level is reached, the DD8L checks the air before switching its fan off to conserve energy. It samples the air again after 30 minutes and only resumes dehumidification when required. This provides responsive humidity control without unnecessarily running the fan continuously.
Faster Indoor Laundry Drying
Dedicated Laundry Mode helps dry washing faster while removing the moisture released from wet clothes. This can be particularly useful during colder or wetter months when outdoor drying is impractical. Removing this moisture also helps prevent condensation from spreading around your home.
Quiet When You Need It
The DD8L allows its quieter fan setting to be selected independently of your desired humidity level. This means you can prioritise quieter operation at night without changing your humidity setting. Depending on the selected mode, operating noise ranges from 39 to 48 dB(A).
Cleaner, More Comfortable Air
An anti-bacterial dust filter helps capture airborne contaminants as air passes through the unit. The integrated ioniser provides an additional air-cleaning feature. Together with controlled humidity, these features help create a more comfortable indoor environment.
Convenient Everyday Operation
The two-litre water tank automatically triggers shut-off when full, helping prevent overflowing. A splash-proof tank cover makes emptying the collected water cleaner and easier. Continuous drainage can also be used where regular manual emptying is inconvenient.
Flexible Installation
At just 6.4kg, the DD8L is relatively lightweight and easy to reposition when required. It can also be wall mounted, making it particularly useful where floor space is limited. This provides additional installation flexibility for offices, studios, garages and laundry areas.
