Returns & Damage Reporting Policy
We want to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. To help us resolve any delivery issues quickly and effectively, we kindly ask all customers — both consumers and business buyers — to inspect their goods within 24 hours of delivery.
Inspection & Damage Reporting – All Customers
Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, defect, or missing item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

Why this matters: Most courier services require damage claims to be submitted within 24–48 hours. Reporting issues promptly allows us to raise a claim on your behalf and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement beyond this point.
Returns & Cancellations – Consumer Customers (Private Individuals)
If you are a consumer and have simply changed your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, under your statutory cooling-off period.
To be eligible for a full refund:
- unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
- partial refund may apply
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Returns – Business Customers (Trade / Commercial Buyers)
For all business purchases, cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases on business orders unless agreed in writing at our discretion.
Any issues or damage must still be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as outlined above.

Efficient Moisture Control With Lower Running Costs
The Meaco DD8L Junior is designed to control excess moisture without unnecessarily running all day. Once your selected humidity level is reached, it checks conditions periodically rather than continuously operating. This helps reduce energy consumption while maintaining the desired environment.
Powerful Desiccant Drying
Unlike a conventional compressor model, the DD8L Junior uses desiccant technology to provide effective moisture removal across a wide temperature range. It extracts up to 7.5 litres of water per day and operates in temperatures as low as 1°C. This makes it particularly useful in colder, unheated spaces.
Ideal for Boats, Garages and Workshops
Its ability to perform at lower temperatures makes the DD8L Junior particularly well suited to boats, garages, workshops and similar spaces. It can help control condensation and excess humidity before they become persistent problems. The unit has also performed strongly in tests by PBO and Sailing Today.
Quiet 39 dB(A) Operation
Select the quiet fan setting when low noise is a priority. Operating noise starts from just 39 dB(A), making the unit suitable for spaces where intrusive noise would be distracting. The quiet fan speed can be selected independently from your chosen humidity setting.
Intelligent Energy-Saving Operation
When the target humidity is achieved, the DD8L Junior continues for five minutes before switching itself off. After 30 minutes, it automatically switches back on to check the humidity level. If no further drying is required, it switches off again, reducing unnecessary operating time.
Faster Indoor Laundry Drying
Dedicated Laundry mode helps dry washing more quickly while removing the moisture released into the surrounding room. This helps prevent indoor laundry from contributing to condensation and excess humidity. It provides a practical solution when outdoor drying isn't possible.
Adjustable Humidity Control
Choose a target relative humidity between 40% and 60% RH to suit your requirements. The dehumidifier then works automatically to maintain the selected environment. This provides greater control without requiring constant manual adjustment.
Automatic Shut-Off and Splash-Proof Tank
A 2-litre internal water tank collects extracted moisture during operation. When the tank becomes full, the DD8L Junior automatically switches itself off. The splash-proof tank cover also helps prevent spills when carrying and emptying the collected water.
