Returns & Damage Reporting Policy
We want to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. To help us resolve any delivery issues quickly and effectively, we kindly ask all customers — both consumers and business buyers — to inspect their goods within 24 hours of delivery.
Inspection & Damage Reporting – All Customers
Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, defect, or missing item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

Why this matters: Most courier services require damage claims to be submitted within 24–48 hours. Reporting issues promptly allows us to raise a claim on your behalf and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement beyond this point.
Returns & Cancellations – Consumer Customers (Private Individuals)
If you are a consumer and have simply changed your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, under your statutory cooling-off period.
To be eligible for a full refund:
- unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
- partial refund may apply
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Returns – Business Customers (Trade / Commercial Buyers)
For all business purchases, cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases on business orders unless agreed in writing at our discretion.
Any issues or damage must still be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as outlined above.

The Broughton Mighty Dry MDe50 delivers powerful dehumidification for demanding commercial and industrial environments. It can extract up to 50 litres of moisture per day under maximum-rated conditions. This makes it ideal for tackling serious damp, condensation and excess moisture.
Built for Construction and Flood Drying
Designed for tough drying applications, the MDe50 is particularly suited to construction sites, flood restoration and building drying. Removing excess moisture can help accelerate drying times during building and refurbishment work. It is equally at home in warehouses, storage areas and other moisture-prone commercial spaces.
Precise Humidity Control
An electronic humidistat gives you direct control over the required humidity level. The integrated LED display makes settings and operating information easy to view. A power-saving timer provides additional control over when the dehumidifier operates.
Continuous or Tanked Drainage
Collected water can be stored in the generous 7-litre condensate tank. When the tank reaches capacity, the MDe50 automatically shuts down to help prevent overflowing. For longer drying jobs, continuous drainage can be connected to reduce the need for manual emptying.
Designed for Easy Transportation
Large non-marking wheels and a strong integrated handle make the MDe50 easy for one person to reposition around a site. Its compact, robust design is well suited to contractors and equipment hire fleets. Multiple units can also be stacked when stored, helping maximise available storage space.
Tough Steel Construction
An impact-resistant steel casing protects the MDe50 during demanding everyday use. This rugged construction makes it suitable for environments where lighter domestic machines may struggle. It combines industrial durability with a highly portable design.
Reliable Performance Across Changing Conditions
The MDe50 operates across temperatures from 5°C to 35°C. Its intelligent automatic defrost system helps maintain effective operation when conditions become colder. Airflow of up to 300m³/h helps move damp air through the machine efficiently.
Lower-GWP Refrigerant
Broughton uses R290 refrigerant in the MDe50, providing a low-GWP refrigerant solution. This is combined with intelligent controls to deliver efficient moisture removal for professional applications. Both 110V and 230V versions are available to suit different working environments.
