Returns & Damage Reporting Policy
We want to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. To help us resolve any delivery issues quickly and effectively, we kindly ask all customers — both consumers and business buyers — to inspect their goods within 24 hours of delivery.
Inspection & Damage Reporting – All Customers
Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, defect, or missing item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

Why this matters: Most courier services require damage claims to be submitted within 24–48 hours. Reporting issues promptly allows us to raise a claim on your behalf and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement beyond this point.
Returns & Cancellations – Consumer Customers (Private Individuals)
If you are a consumer and have simply changed your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, under your statutory cooling-off period.
To be eligible for a full refund:
- unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
- partial refund may apply
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Returns – Business Customers (Trade / Commercial Buyers)
For all business purchases, cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases on business orders unless agreed in writing at our discretion.
Any issues or damage must still be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as outlined above.

Powerful Moisture Control for Larger Homes
The MeacoDry Arete® Two 20L is designed for powerful everyday moisture control in 3 to 5 bedroom homes. It helps prevent damp, mould and condensation while creating a more comfortable indoor environment. Its powerful extraction makes it ideal for managing moisture throughout the British climate.
Faster Laundry Drying
Dry washing indoors faster without relying on a tumble dryer. The advanced DC motor and additional high-speed fan deliver airflow up to 255m³/h, helping remove moisture from laundry more quickly. Adjustable laundry timers and the manual louvre give you greater control over every drying cycle.
Dehumidifier and Air Purifier Combined
Arete® Two provides two forms of air care from one appliance. A washable dust filter and medical-grade H13 HEPA filter are included, allowing the unit to capture airborne particles while controlling humidity. Its independent Air Purification Mode can also be used when dehumidification is not required.
Smart Control from Anywhere
Control your dehumidifier directly through the Meaco app for convenient everyday operation. Arete® Two also supports voice commands through compatible Amazon Alexa and Google Home devices. This makes checking and adjusting your indoor environment easier without needing to be beside the unit.
Quiet Enough for Everyday Living
Powerful moisture extraction does not have to mean excessive noise. Arete® Two operates from just 38 dB(A), making it well suited to bedrooms and everyday living spaces. Three operating noise levels of 38, 40 and 50 dB(A) correspond with its different operating speeds.
More Airflow, Efficient Performance
An advanced DC motor sits at the heart of the Arete® Two. It provides increased air movement while maintaining low energy consumption, with power consumption rated at just 207W under specified test conditions. This combination helps deliver strong dehumidification and laundry drying without unnecessarily increasing running costs.
Clear Premium LCD Display
The premium LCD Chase display presents important information clearly at a glance. Current mode, room humidity, target humidity and timer information can be viewed without repeatedly cycling through controls. WET and optimum relative humidity indicators make understanding current conditions even easier.
Set Your Ideal Humidity
The variable humidistat can be adjusted between 40% and 70% RH. This allows the Arete® Two to automatically work towards your chosen humidity level rather than simply running continuously. The result is convenient moisture control tailored to your home.
Continuous Drainage When Required
For longer-term operation, Arete® Two includes an adapter compatible with a standard garden hose for continuous drainage. This allows collected water to drain away without repeatedly emptying the 4.8-litre tank. A drainage hose itself is not supplied.
Optional Pump Drainage
Need to move collected water upwards rather than relying on gravity? The separately available Arete® pump provides additional drainage flexibility for installations such as basements, garages and boats. It is compatible with Arete® One and Two 18L, 20L and 25L models.
Designed for Year-Round Air Care
Arete® Two remains useful even when excess humidity is not a problem. Independent air purification allows the appliance to continue filtering room air without dehumidifying it. An optional charcoal filter can also be fitted to help tackle smells and volatile organic compounds.

Designed by Meaco's UK team specifically with the British climate in mind, Arete® Two combines powerful moisture extraction with low-noise, energy-conscious operation. Its operating temperature range of 5°C to 35°C provides versatility across different areas of the home. A free five-year warranty provides additional long-term reassurance.
