Returns & Damage Reporting Policy
We want to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. To help us resolve any delivery issues quickly and effectively, we kindly ask all customers — both consumers and business buyers — to inspect their goods within 24 hours of delivery.
Inspection & Damage Reporting – All Customers
Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, defect, or missing item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

Why this matters: Most courier services require damage claims to be submitted within 24–48 hours. Reporting issues promptly allows us to raise a claim on your behalf and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement beyond this point.
Returns & Cancellations – Consumer Customers (Private Individuals)
If you are a consumer and have simply changed your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, under your statutory cooling-off period.
To be eligible for a full refund:
- unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
- partial refund may apply
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Returns – Business Customers (Trade / Commercial Buyers)
For all business purchases, cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases on business orders unless agreed in writing at our discretion.
Any issues or damage must still be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as outlined above.

The MeacoDry Arete® One combines powerful dehumidification with effective air purification in one compact appliance. It helps tackle damp, condensation and excess moisture while filtering airborne particles through its HEPA filter. This means cleaner, drier air without needing two separate appliances.
Designed for Smaller Homes
Ideal for flats, apartments, individual rooms and smaller properties, the Arete® One provides practical year-round air care. It is particularly useful in spaces affected by condensation, mould or persistent damp. Its discreet modern design allows it to blend naturally into the home.
Whisper-Quiet Performance
Operating from just 35dB(A), the Arete® One is designed to work without becoming an unwanted distraction. Low noise makes it particularly well suited to everyday home environments. Two fan speeds allow you to balance airflow and quieter operation.
Efficient Everyday Dehumidification
With power consumption of only 151W under the stated test conditions, the Arete® One is designed with everyday efficiency in mind. The adjustable humidistat lets you select a target between 40% and 70% RH. Once switched on, the unit can manage moisture levels with minimal intervention.
Cleaner Air Included
A washable dust filter and HEPA filter are included as standard, adding air purification to the dehumidifier's moisture-control capabilities. The HEPA filter provides an additional level of filtration for a cleaner home environment. An optional charcoal filter can also be purchased separately.
Simple to Use
Easy-touch controls and a digital display make everyday operation straightforward. The 2.5-litre water tank has gripping points on both sides, making removal convenient for left or right-handed users. Castors also make repositioning the appliance around your home easier.
Flexible Continuous Drainage
For applications where regularly emptying the tank is inconvenient, the unit provides a continuous drainage option. Its integrated adaptor allows a compatible garden hose to be connected without requiring a dedicated plastic drainage hose. Collected water can then be directed to a suitable drainage point or potentially reused where appropriate.

The Arete® range was developed in Britain with feedback from around 2,000 customers over five years. Its combination of quiet performance, straightforward controls and home-friendly styling reflects the requirements identified during that process.
