For larger items like industrial dehumidifiers or split systems, we take extra care in palletising them to guarantee their safe arrival. Returning an item

Returns & Damage Reporting Policy

We want to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. To help us resolve any delivery issues quickly and effectively, we kindly ask all customers — both consumers and business buyers — to inspect their goods within 24 hours of delivery.

Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, defect, or missing item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

Why this matters: Most courier services require damage claims to be submitted within 24–48 hours. Reporting issues promptly allows us to raise a claim on your behalf and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected, and we may be unable to offer a refund or replacement beyond this point.

Returns & Cancellations – Consumer Customers (Private Individuals)

If you are a consumer and have simply changed your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, under your statutory cooling-off period.

To be eligible for a full refund:

unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
partial refund may apply

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Returns – Business Customers (Trade / Commercial Buyers)

For all business purchases, cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases on business orders unless agreed in writing at our discretion.

Any issues or damage must still be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as outlined above.

High-Performance Desiccant Dehumidification

The Meaco DD8L Zambezi is a powerful desiccant dehumidifier designed to tackle damp, condensation and excess moisture. It extracts up to 8.3 litres of moisture per day at 20°C and 60% RH. Unlike conventional compressor models, its desiccant technology remains effective in colder environments.

Ideal for Cold Spaces

With an operating range from just 1°C to 37°C, the Zambezi is particularly suited to unheated spaces. Use it in garages, cellars, boats, caravans and holiday homes where temperatures can regularly fall below 10°C. It is equally at home controlling condensation throughout flats and houses.

Whisper-Quiet Performance

Enjoy effective moisture control without excessive operating noise. The Zambezi operates from just 41dB(A) on its quietest setting, with noise levels of 41, 45 or 50dB(A) depending on the selected mode. This makes it a practical choice for everyday use around the home.

Cleaner Air with Sterilising Ionisation

The Zambezi was the first Meaco dehumidifier to feature a sterilising ioniser. This works alongside the dehumidifier to provide additional air treatment while moisture is being controlled. An anti-bacterial dust filter provides another layer of filtration during operation.

Complete Digital Control

The digital display provides clear information about current room temperature and relative humidity. Target humidity can be selected in precise 5% increments. The intuitive controls also provide access to timers, Laundry+ and the sterilising ioniser.

Advanced Timer Control

Take greater control over exactly when your dehumidifier operates. The Zambezi provides on, off and daily run timer functions, allowing operation to fit around your routine. Meaco Timer+ can also be used for convenient daily on and off running.

Energy Saving Laundry+

Drying washing indoors can introduce significant amounts of moisture into your home. Meaco's Energy Saving Laundry+ mode is designed to help dry laundry while managing the moisture released into the room. Timer controls allow you to choose how long you want the machine operating.

Intelligent Humidity Management

Meaco 20+ Control and Turn Me On provide additional functionality for convenient humidity management. The display even uses 'Happy' and 'Sad' Zambezi indicators to make operating status easier to understand. This combines advanced control with straightforward everyday operation.

Compact and Portable

Despite its high-performance desiccant technology, the Zambezi weighs only 7.8kg. Its compact 548 x 358 x 200mm dimensions make it easier to position around the home or transport between locations. This is particularly useful for boats, caravans and holiday properties.

Practical Water Collection

Extracted moisture is collected in a 3-litre water tank. The tank incorporates an anti-mould coating to help maintain cleanliness during regular operation. This makes the Zambezi a practical solution for ongoing household moisture management.
